Flash Transfer Process Overview
Flash Transfer is used to synchronize valve and activity data between the Vitals Mobile-TC (on the TC-100) and Vitals Desktop using a USB flash drive.
What You Need
- TC-100 controller with Vitals Mobile-TC
- PC with Vitals Desktop installed
- USB flash drive
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Export Data from TC-100 to USB
- On the TC-100, open Vitals Mobile-TC.
- Tap the Flash Transfer icon.
- Insert the USB flash drive into the TC-100.
- Wait for the USB Flash Ready message.
- Tap Start.
- Wait for the Files Copied message.
- Remove the flash drive.
2. Import Data into Vitals Desktop
- Insert the flash drive into your PC.
- Open Vitals Desktop.
- Click Data Transfer.
- In the Connect To dropdown, select Flash Transfer.
- Select the correct folder (named by Transfer ID).
- Click Start.
- Review and Import the updated valve and activity data.
3. Export Updated Database to USB
- After import, Vitals Desktop will prompt to export the updated database.
- Click Export.
- Wait for the Data has been exported message.
- Remove the flash drive.
4. Import Updated Database into TC-100
- Insert the flash drive back into the TC-100.
- Vitals Mobile will automatically detect the update.
- Wait for the Data Transfer Finished message.
- Tap Exit Vitals.
- Restart Vitals Mobile-TC.
Notes
- Always complete the full cycle (export → import → export → import) to ensure both systems are synchronized.
- If you have multiple controllers, repeat the import/export steps for each one individually.
