Symptom: After connecting HC-100 to computer it appears it’s installing the drivers but it fails. Or does not attempt to install drivers and computer does not recognize HC-100.  


1. It is possible that the settings are not configured correctly.  

2. Launch the ActiveSynch app from the HC-100 Controller.  


3. Click Menu then click Connections.  Make sure the "Synchronize all PC's using this connection" checkbox is checked and that the "USB Default" is selected from the drop down menu.
